Voices That Power Change is a growing speakers register designed to help event organisers across Scotland find expert voices beyond the usual names.
Too often, panels and industry conversations draw from the same networks — limiting the diversity of perspectives represented. This initiative is about widening that pool, making it easier to identify skilled speakers with a range of lived experiences, backgrounds, and expertise across energy and infrastructure.
We are starting with a strong focus on improving gender balance — particularly increasing the visibility of women in energy — while supporting broader diversity across all protected characteristics. But it doesn’t stop there.
Whether you’re a seasoned speaker or have valuable insight to share but haven’t yet had the opportunity, we want to hear from you.
Who it’s for
Individuals who:
Work in or alongside the energy and infrastructure sectors
Have insight, expertise or lived experience to contribute
Are interested in speaking at events, panels, roundtables or media opportunities
You do not need extensive speaking experience — this is about actively building a pipeline of new and emerging voices.
